Mar 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ninth season of the popular reality show “American Idol” is coming on air currently. In its latest episode, it featured three guest performers who deserve special mention. All three are relatively known faces. David Cook was the winner of “American Idol” in the seventh season of the show. Ke$ha is a rising star in the world of pop, and gave one of the biggest hits in the last year with her album “Tik Tok.” The third performer, Orianthi Panagaris is also a rising singing star. However, despite having an album at the number 18 spot in the billboard, she is better known as a guitarist.

Orianthi Panagaris did not attempt a cover of any of the iconic songs in the show. Instead, she went for her hit single, “According To You,” from her album “Believe,” which she performed with her characteristic gusto and feeling. This song marks her debut as a singer, although she had performed on stage as a guitarist many times before this. Even as she performed on the stage of the “American Idol,” even more noticeable than her voice, which is otherwise great, was her skill with the instrument.

All in all, the Australian guitarist turned singer gave a memorable performance on the platform of the “American Idol.” Throughout her entire performance, what came off as evident was that all her years of experience of performing with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including the likes of Carrie Underwood and Michael Jackson, not to mention her own talent, had paid off extremely well.
