Washington, Aug 15 (ANI): A woman who worked for talk show host Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network has sued the company over claims she was subjected to a hostile work environment.
According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Catherine Dunn was an assistant at OWN beginning in August 2008.
She claimed that during her time there, she was ’subjected to a hostile work environment’ because she suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.
She said that she was forced to take a stress leave as well of a leave of absence because her Multiple Sclerosis symptoms were exacerbated because of the workplace stress, reports TMZ.
She claimed that a non-disabled and younger employee replaced her when she was on leave.
Dunn has sued the company for wrongful termination and is demanding unspecified damages. (ANI)
