It has been divulged that Thompson has copious admiration for Kitty Kelley’s unofficial biography. He has mentioned that Kelley’s book will enact a pivotal role in the modeling of his film. It must be remembered that Oprah did not respond complimentarily to Kelley’s biography. Hence, it does not appear that she will react positively to the news about a film being prepared on her.

Thompson has uttered that the selection of a female to enact the character of Oprah will be a colossal challenge. They have resolved to organize auditions that will be accessible to recognized and unrecognized actresses. Kelley has mentioned that she is convinced that her made-for-TV biopic is going to attain triumph. The reason for her optimism is that the expert Thompson is going to be responsible for this film’s creation.

Thompson has mentioned that the film will probably be a two- or four-hour film. Thompson has declared that he has optioned it for six figures. This TV project is likely to be telecast in September 2011. That would be the time when Winfrey’s weekday chat show also winds up.
