November 24th, 2009 - 8:02 pm ICT by Aishwarya Bhatt Tell a Friend -

Oprah Winfrey Los Angeles, Nov 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A very sad and emotional Oprah Winfrey announced on her show that she will take her iconic talk show off the air in 2011 at the end of its 25th season. After reigning as the Talk Show Queen for 25 years Oprah Winfrey came to this very difficult decision, as she now wants to focus on her own channel.

The entrepreneurial Oprah Winfrey will leave CBS in the 25th year of her show. She is expected to reappear, as her debut on the Oprah Winfrey Network. The multitalented and super businesswoman Oprah Winfrey has her very own rags-to-super-riches story that hits an emotional chord with the viewers and readers.

Her fans are sad at her leaving but at the same time they are happy for her success too. She connects with the women folk the most, as a friend, as a sister, as a soul sister, as an advisor etc. They hang on to her words because she connects with them at the heart-to-heart level.

“I love this show. This show has been my life and I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye,” Winfrey told viewers at the end of her live broadcast. “Twenty five years feels right in my bones and it feels right in my spirit. It’s the perfect number, the exact right time.”

Her talk show is the must-have on anybody’s list when they release a book, a new venture or anything that has Oprah interested in it. Because if Oprah Winfrey’s endorses it, then you can bet that, it is going to be a super duper hit and fly off the shelves.
