New York, December 08 (ANI): Oprah Winfrey has dismissed reports that she called up Tiger Woods for a personal interview on her chat show, following the exposure of his extra-marital affairs.
Even though Winfrey may be trying to approach the golfer, who is her personal friend, she has denied calling him up.
“I do know there was a blog report that Oprah had personally called Mr. Woods himself - that is not true,” the New York Post quoted a spokesman for The Oprah Winfrey Show as telling USA Today.
Meanwhile, ESPN and the Golf Channel are trying hard to get an interview with the sportsman.
ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said: “As you would expect in a situation like this, we are pursuing it through all possible avenues,”
And Golf Channel spokesman Dan Higgins said: “Regardless of recent events, we’re always looking for opportunities to talk with Tiger.” (ANI)
