Oprah to be Blue Ivy’s Godmother
January 27th, 2012 - 12:22 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Jan 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Blue Ivy Carter, the 19-day-old daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z, is obviously one of the most famous toddlers in the world. The website Media Take Out says the parents have settled on media mogul Oprah Winfrey to be the godmother of the child.
The report also stated that Jay-Z’s friend and fellow rapper Tyran ‘Ty-Ty’ Smith will be the godfather of the celebrity couple’s first child together. Blue Ivy is going to get some pampering from her aunt.
Beyonce’s sister Solange has promised that she plans to pay her sister back for over-pampering her seven-year-old son Julez. In a recent interview, Solange joked that, “”This may sound awful, but I’m excited to let the baby do whatever it wants in the same way my sister’s done with my son. I’m going to get her back for all those late-night popcorn sessions and just spoiling my child to no end!”
She argues that her sister was a “great aunt” to her son and she plans to copy her.
Beyonce and Jay-Z are one of the most famous couples are in the world. This is the first child of the couple who are both dedicated to their individual thriving careers.
