Hamilton County, Oct 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Talk Show host Oprah Winfrey and Journalist Larry King are slugging it out to get to interview Marcus Schrenker. Both are trying all their might and power to be the first one to interview him.

Marcus is the former enterprising money manager from Hamilton County who pled guilty to trying to fake his own death by crashing his plane in a Florida swamp.

NBC’s Dateline has already profiled his story, months ago in May itself, but now it appears that Larry King and Oprah Winfrey are trying to book Schrenker.

However, Oprah Winfrey tried to downplay the whole thing by saying, “Oprah recently told “The Insider” that she doesn’t really care about “getting interviews first and all that stuff,” but that she is very interested in sitting down with Jaycee Dugard.”

According to court records, a federal judge sentenced Marcus in August to four years in prison for the crash. He goes on trial in March in Indiana on charges that he cheated his clients out of millions of dollars.
