Oprah and Stedman Graham “Too Busy” For Children

Dec 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As Oprah Winfrey interviewed for Barbara Walters, she shared why she and her long time life partner Stedman Graham have never had kids. During Oprah’s first interview with Walters, nearly twenty years ago, the celebrity talk show host was open to the ideas of both getting married and having children, so why didn’t she?
The answer is quite simple. They were too busy. Oprah shared with Walters that her life was basically too busy to raise a child, although she did have such plans when she was younger. She went on to explain that she wanted to do so many things that it would not be fair to bring a baby into the world. Stedman asks her how many kids she is going to adopt each time she makes a trip to Africa, but she says although she would love to do so, she feels it would not be fair to the child, and too much for her.
Oprah does love kids, however, and helps many children all over the world. She helps needy kids with clothing, shelter, education, and makes it possible for many of them to come to America to study.
