Olivia Wilde Voted As The World’s Sexiest Vegetarian

July 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde has been voted and named as the World’s Sexiest Vegetarian by officials at People For Ethical Treatment For Animals (PETA) in 2010 along with Bob Harper, NBC’s “Biggest Loser” trainer. The sexy actress was happy to be awarded and said that going vegetarian has made her about a thousand times more energetic than anything else.
The annual contest of Sexiest Vegetarian is run by PETA to avoid killing animals and encourage vegetarian diet in people and also demonstrate the sex appeal of vegetarians. PETA in a recent report has found out that a vegetarian diet saves the lives of about 100 animals a year and also reduces green house gases. The actress, who is known for her character “Thirteen” is a pure vegetarian and she even excludes the use of animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. The actress after receiving the award posted on her website that she was really honored and very inspired to continue living the “vegan” lifestyle that has been good to her body, her animal friends and the world “we” live in.
The World’s Sexiest Female Vegetarian also added on her website that she was a firm believer of the caption “your dollar is your vote” and often people forget the power of each of their purchases. The consumer, the demand and the fuel for industry are people and hence one should choose to support the right thing. This time the actress has defeated Leona Lewis, who was the top vegetarian consecutively for 2008 and 2009.
