July 3, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Television star, Olivia Wilde, popularly known as 13 from the TV show ‘House’, is now in the news. She has been hailed for her healthy and environmentally friendly habits. She has also been endowed with the title of being the sexiest female vegetarian.. Bob Harper has been voted for the same title in the male category.

Olivia has always been known for standing up for noble causes. She is one of the active activists and helps to run the ‘Artists for Peace and Justice’ along with being on the foundation board of the ACLU of South California. She says that she strives to leave the world a much better place.

She believes that she is promoting the things that she feels is important. A vegan diet is her way of disapproving the unhealthy practices of factory farming. She has also confessed to feeling much more energetic and healthier by surviving on a plant based diet. She has been candid about her objectives for sticking to a meat less diet as well.

The fad of vegan diet is catching on now and is considered to be both good for the body as well as for the environment. The sexiest vegetarian is not lacking in the looks department either.

With PETA crowning another pair of celebrities in 2010, the list of stars who have shown compassion as well as concern for the environment is growing longer. Last year it was Kellie Pickler and Milo Ventimiglia, the actor while the year before saw the crown going to Anthony Kiedis and the singer Leona Lewis.
