Olivia Newton-John still believes ‘missing’ lover is alive

- Melbourne, Apr 29 (ANI): Singer Olivia Newton-John says she still believes her missing boyfriend is alive.
The 60-year-old singer’s lighting technician beau of nine years Patrick McDermott mysteriously disappeared during a fishing trip in 2005.
However, in an interview Australian Women’s Weekly, Newton-John said she is still unconvinced that her lover is dead.
“I think there will always be a question mark,” the Herald Sun quoted her as saying.
“Even though the US Coast Guard has closed the case and considers him missing at sea, I don’t think I will ever really be at peace with it,” she added.
It is said that McDermott is staging his disappearance to avoid thousands of dollars of child support payments to his ex-wife.
There were also numerous - but unconfirmed - sightings of him in Mexico late last year.
Meanwhile, Olivia Newton is happily married to a millionaire entrepreneur John Easterling. (ANI)
