Olivia Munn to appear on HBO pilot
May 19th, 2011 - 8:27 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Olivia Munn has been reportedly handed a deal for her to appear on the HBO pilot “More as the Story Develops.” The actress had her show on NBC, “Perfect Couples,” cancelled at the early part of this month.
Munn’s character in the set will not be the main character. The main character will be Will which will be played by Jeff Daniels. Will in the series is a co-anchor of a television network. The story zooms in on him after the other co-anchor gets another opportunity somewhere and moves on with most of the staff at the network. With that done, Will have to contend with the arrival of new breed of staff who were brought in to replace those who had left.
Munn’s character will be one of the new staff members who will be brought to the network. Her character’s name is Sloan and is described as a sexy financial analyst. As it is always the case, it will be based on the outcome of the pilot that subsequent shows will be ordered.
Alan Poul alongside Aaron Sorkin will be the executive producer of the show. The pilot will be directed by Scott Rudin.
