Though many of the Superbowl ads make news every season, there is no doubt that this year’s Old Spice body wash ad “I’m on a horse” has been able to hold on to the attention of the potent customers for a long time. Two months after the advertisement was shown in the Superbowl 2010, the ad has been doing the round in the internet and has gained immense popularity.

In the Old Spice “I’m on a horse” ad that has been produced by Wieden and Kennedy, Isaiah Mustafa, the actor and the former NFL wide receiver is seen in one seamless take passing from a shower in a bathroom to standing on a boat to riding a white horse. The ad since the Superbowl games has been uploaded in the YouTube and has flooded many social networking sites. According to reports, the advertisement has been watched by nearly 6.4 million people and still many more people are searching for it.

According to reports, Isaiah Mustafa has gained a celebrity status after the commercial and has since then appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and NBC’s “Today”. He is also appeared in “The Oprah Winfrey Show”. The advertisement has received overwhelming comments in social networking sites. Some of the viewers have reportedly said that they have indulged into buying the product only after viewing the advertisement whose concept is different from other products which target male buyers. The advertisement addresses the female customers who, according to a survey, are the primary buyers of male products.
