Old Spice guy Isaiah Mustafa back for round three of 2011 commercials
January 27th, 2011 - 7:47 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Jan 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Proctor & Gamble has indicated that they will be bringing back Isaiah Mustafa in the round three of the 2011 commercials to promote Old Spice.
The company is promoting the upcoming commercials on the Internet. Proctor & Gamble released a 30-minute trailer on Wednesday to promote the commercial.
According to Proctor & Gamble a “superfan” of the earlier commercials will have the chance to get the commercial of his social network page just before the Super Bowl. The said “superfan” was not identified.
The commercials will be uploaded on YouTube before it finally hit the television screens on the 7th day of February. That is a day after the Super Bowl.
The brand manage of Old Spice, James Moorhead, said that, “We felt like we could build some excitement behind this latest launch, letting people know we’re bringing Isaiah back, and continue to reward our fans across social media.”
The first two commercials were a hit. In the first commercial that was uploaded in YouTube about a year ago, the video was viewed tens of millions of times. The success of the first campaign inspired the organizers to come up with another one in the summer.
