Oksana to file civil suit against Mel Gibson

Gibson recently pleaded no contest to charges relating to domestic abuse. Under the plea bargain, Gibson is expected to avoid jail time. Gibson has been sentenced to one year domestic violence counseling programme. Oksana though want something more. She intends to take civil suit against the man she was previously going out with.
TMZ now reports that Mel Gibson has dared Oksana to sue him. According to sources that the report cites, Gibson intends to counter-sue if Oksana dares to go ahead with her threat to sue. He claims that Oksana tried to blackmail him with the tapes that she finally made public.
Gibson became public enemy number one when the tapes containing his rants became public. A voice that Gibson later owned up could be heard on the tape shouting and threatening Oksana. Gibson later revealed that Oksana demanded $15 million from him if the tapes were to be kept secret.
The 55-year-old was also sentenced to serve 16 hours of community service. His lawyer later released a statement saying that Gibson accepted the plea bargain because he wanted to close this chapter of his life as soon as possible.
