‘Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All’ appears on ‘Jimmy Fallon’ show
February 18th, 2011 - 2:16 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Feb 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new band called “Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All” promises to take the music industry by storm.
Made up of 11 teenagers all from Los Angeles -and led by the group’s older member, 19-year-old Tyler- the group is one of its kind because anything goes in their song. They don’t care to offend anybody when they are singing.
They appeared on Wednesday’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show. The group prefers to be called Odd Future or the mouthful OFWGKTA. The group already has a track out and they have penned a contract with the British label XL Recordings to produce an album. The album is expected to come out this April.
They have as many lovers as they do have haters. Their songs are criticized for being offensive and highly provocative. However their lovers don’t see it that way. They argue that the group is just coming out with a new version of rock that is truly electrifying.
There have been several descriptions for their kind of music. Some describe their style as grim while others prefer to call it frightening. However the music website Pitchfork calls the style of the group “bizarro”.
