Now Ramayana on radio!

New Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS) Indian epic Ramayana is now set to come alive on radio with voiceovers by actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Om Puri and Ratna Pathak Shah.
Radio station Fever 104 FM has put together the epic into a radio project for its listeners. Over 200 Indian artistes have lent their voice for the production, said a press statement.
Naseer will have given voiceover for Raavan, Anupam for Lord Ram’s father Dashrath and Om Puri will be the voice of ‘Kaal’.
Jayati Bhatia and Ratna will give the voiceover for Kaikeyi and Manthara, respectively.
Television serials have been made and films for the big screen based on the epic. This is the first time a radio project has been made on the epic.
The radio station has yet to reveal who is giving voiceover for Ram and Sita.
