Notice to two channels for showing missing nurse’s CD
November 12th, 2011 - 9:29 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS) The government has issued a show cause notice to two news channels for telecasting a CD purportedly showing nurse Bhanwari Devi and former Rajasthan minister Mahipal Maderna in a compromising position.
The two channels have been charged for showing content which is not in good taste and is not decency and is also not suitable for unrestricted public exhibition besides not for viewing by children, said official sources Saturday.
The news channels, P7 and Sahara Samay, have to reply by Nov 14, they added.
The channels have also been asked not to repeat the telecast of the CD.
