‘Nothing sexual’ between Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough
September 26th, 2010 - 2:04 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 26 (ANI): Rumours that Cheryl Cole has an intimate relationship with dancer friend Derek Hough have completely been denied.
A source close to Cheryl has confirmed that the good-looking dance couple has given some steamy performances on the dance floor but so is not the case between the sheets.
“There was never anything sexual between her and Derek. He’s a close friend and was there for her during a difficult time. That’s it. I mean, as if she would move a new boyfriend into her marital home just after splitting with Ashley. Ashley was the man of her dreams and it’s going to take her a long time to get over him,” News Of The World quoted the source as saying.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden also maintained that Derek is a gentleman and a perfect companion for Cheryl but that’s it.
“I absolutely think that people should stop assuming that Cheryl needs a man to get on with her life. She is a strong and feisty girl and she is fine on her own,” she said.
Chez and Dirk were practically joined at the hip following her split with football ace and love-rat Ashley early this year. (ANI)
