Washington, Aug 3 (ANI): Daniel Day-Lewis has dismissed reports that he has signed up to star in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes sequel.
British tabloid The Sun reported the Oscar-winner had signed up to play the supersleuth’s nemesis Professor Moriarty, opposite Robert Downey, Jr., in the follow-up.
The film is expected to hit cinemas next year (11), reports Contactmusic.
However, Day-Lewis’ manager is adamant the actor is not taking on the role, telling GossipCop.com the report is “not true”. (ANI)
