No replacement of Ledger in ‘The Dark Knight’ sequel
June 8th, 2010 - 12:12 am ICT by IANSLondon, June 7 (IANS) “The Dark Knight” director Christopher Nolan insists he will never find a substitute to play the Joker in the sequel now that it has been immortalised by late actor Heath Ledger.
As the new Batman movie is in pipeline, Nolan has ruled out the prospect of replacing Ledger even after more than two years of his death, reports express.co.uk.
“I don’t feel comfortable about it,” said Nolan.
Ledger, whose death was caused by an overdose of prescription drugs won a posthumous Oscar for Best Actor in Supporting Role in the blockbuster hit.
