‘No hesitation’ in signing Bingle as face of summer swimwear: Speedo
August 8th, 2010 - 3:28 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Aug 08 (ANI): Swimwear manufacturer Speedo has said that it is not hesitating in signing Lara Bingle as face of summer swimwear.
Speedo officials, while launching its Beach Summer 2010 ad campaign, said that the 23-year-old model has still got it.
Despite Bingle’s recent spate of bad publicity, Speedo has no hesitation signing on the Sydneysider for a second season.
“She’s a beautiful girl and she really does embody that outdoors, Australian beach girl,” News.com.au marketing manager Tiffany Scott quoted as saying.
She said that having a famous face attached to a brand was a trend right across the swimwear market.
“It definitely is a trend at the moment to use faces to support brands, so to be in a competitive arena then that’s something that needs to be considered,” Scott said. (ANI)
