No Heidi Klum In Victoria’s Secret Show; Katy Perry And Akon To Sing There

October 14, 2010 (Sampourn Wire): Singers Katy Perry and Akon are all set to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to be held next month in New York. Victoria’s Secret has officially declared that both singers will be part of the annual fashion extravaganza. To be held at the end of November, all Victoria’s Secret Angels, the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Candice Swanepoel, Chanel Iman, Erin Heatherton and Lily Aldridge will feature in next month’s fashion show. However all is not well with the fashion label. Reports claim that supermodel Heidi Klum, who has represented the fashion brand for quite a long time now, will no longer be a part of the fashion brand.
In a statement made to the media, Heidi Klum confirms the report saying that her 13-years association with Victoria’s Secret has come to an end and she will no longer walk the ramp for the brand in November. Stressing on the fact that all things, good or bad have to come to an end, Heidi Klum says that the time was right for her to cut off the ‘angel wings’.
This year will see Adriana Lima as the face of Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra. The Bra reportedly comes with a whopping price tag of $3million and is decorated with more than 2000 diamonds. The show begins on the ramp on the 30th of November.
