Nikhil Chadda Accepts Being Unrecognized By Aged Group!

September 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Television actor Nikhil Chhada, who is now seen in Star One’s show “Miley Jab Hum Tum’ (MJHT), is very popular among youngsters because his show is youth based and most of the audiences are youngsters.The actors of the show are much popular with the younger generation because of its youth targeted content. The story will hardly attract the middle age audience and this has been proved recently.
Nikhil Chadda, who plays Rohan in MJHT, faced such a situation when he was not recognized by some people. He went to take Darshan of Ganpati Bappa at Lalbaug recently with his mother and lots of devotees were standing in the queue there to have a glimpse of Lord Ganesha. Elucidating the incident, Nikhil told TellyCafe.com that he had never visited Lalbaug before to take darshan but his mom is a regular visitor there. So, when he went there for the first time, he did not have any pass but his mom managed to get a pass for them by talking to the security over there. Thus the actor could take darshan of the almighty with few minutes.
“The funny thing was that some young girls who had come for the darshan were stopping to stare at me, but none of the Aunties and Uncles even seemed to recognize me!”, said Nikhil. “Well, it’s not completely unbelievable. MJHT is mostly watched by the younger group so obviously only they would know who I am. Or maybe it’s also because I look totally different on screen than how I am in real life.”
Well, we must say Nikhil has made a very honest confession!
