Nicole Scherzinger topples Adele from top of UK singles chart
March 21st, 2011 - 2:56 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 21 (ANI): Nicole Scherzinger has ended Adele’s four-week reign at the top of the UK singles chart.
‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ by the ‘X Factor’ guest judge and former Pussycat Doll entered the charts at number one, pushing Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ into the second spot after four weeks at the top, reports the BBC.
Adele’s second album 21 is now topping the albums chart for its eighth week while her debut album 19 is at number two.
Singer-songwriter Adele became the first living artist since the Beatles to have two top five hits in both the singles chart and the albums chart simultaneously when ‘Someone Like You’ topped the charts. (ANI)
