Nicole Scherzinger is a beast on stage
December 9th, 2010 - 3:00 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 9 (IANS) Singer Nicole Scherzinger says she turns into a beast when she’s on stage and wants her solo songs to reflect that attitude.
“I told Red, when I go on stage I kind of turn into a beast sometimes, this other alter-ego, you know, that you kind of get to see in ‘Poison’. I want the music to bring that to life for me,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
“I feel like when I listen to some of the songs, I’m just like my own action hero,” she added.
The 32-year-old gave her opinion on using auto-tune, a recording effect which automatically alters singers’ voices to be perfectly in tune.
“I don’t really like auto-tune too much. But you wouldn’t have ‘Believe’ by Cher without it. I’m more classic,” she said.
