Nicole Scherzinger denies engagement rumor on Twitter
July 18th, 2011 - 9:18 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, July 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) UK X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has debunked rumors that she is engaged to her Formula One boyfriend Lewis Hamilton. Nicole’s father during an interview with The Mail on Sunday said Hamilton has proposed to her daughter. Alfonso Valiente even called Hamilton his “future son-in-law” during the interview.
It was the publicist of Hamilton who first denied the engagement rumor and now Nicole has also denied the rumor.
Writing on her Twitter page, Nicole said that, “Lewis and I woke up this morning and read we were engaged! Sorry to disappoint u all but its not true :)”
Nicole and Hamilton have been going out for four years now. During an interview with Graham Norton last month, Nicole said she was content that their relationship has endured for so much considering the various travels that Hamilton has to make in a season.
She announced during that interview that, “Right now we are really happy where we are.”
Nicole replaced Cheryl Cole as a judge on the UK version of the music talent show X Factor. Cole left the UK X Factor for a chance to be on the US version of the show which was launched this year.
