Los Angeles, July 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Nicole Scherzinger was left furious when she learned that she had got economy class tickets for a flight from London to Los Angeles, as part of the X Factor show.

According to The Sun, Nicole was very angry when she learned that she had been placed on an economy class seat on the flight by the X Factor producers. She got even more angry when she was told at the airport that she wouldn’t get a free update and instead she would need to shell out more than 3000 pounds for the upgrade.

Singer Nicole is used to flying first class all the time but this time around she was horrified to find that her X Factor boss Simon Cowell had placed on an economy seat. She tried a lot to reason with the flight officials but to no avail. Finally she had to pay from her own pocket for the upgrade.

According to The Sun, a source said that, “Nicole was fuming. She always flies first-class but she was amazed to find that she had been booked into economy. The X Factor books all of her flights — but she hadn’t expected this. Nicole spent 20 minutes trying to get BA to upgrade her but in the end she had to put her hand in her pocket. There were a few mutterings about Simon Cowell being a tightwad.”
