Nicole Ritchie involved in car crash

Beverly Hills, Oct 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The brand new mom and actress Nicole Richie was hurt on Monday after her car was involved in a crash with paparazzi, according to Beverly Hills police.
Lt. Mike Hill of the Beverly Hills Police Department says the 28-year-old actress was rear-ended by two photographers driving in a car behind her at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Canon Drive about 2:00 p.m.
“There was a complaint of pain injury. She told officers at the scene that she’s going to seek her own medical treatment,” according to Lt. Tony Lee. The extent of her injuries is still unknown, however they are expected to be minimal as no ambulance was called.
The involved paparazzi, freelance photographer Edwardo Arrivebene, 29, who was also incidentally driving without a license, was arrested and booked Lee said. He was later released on bail. Edward said that the crash happened, because momentarily he bends down to pick up a camera and in that time frame, he rear ended into Nichole’s car.
Richie is well known for co-starring with Paris Hilton in the 2003-2005 reality TV series “The Simple Life.”
