Canada, Feb 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that socialite and fashionista Nicole Richie is following in the footsteps of celebrities like Angelina Jolie who get a thrill out of flying aircrafts. Recently, she went on a trip to Canada where she got the chance of flying an aircraft, which she lapped up. She later revealed that she had been to Canada to promote her fashion brands. The 28 year old socialite wrote in her blog account that Rick and Brian, her partners allowed her to act as the aircraft’s auto-pilot and she flew the plane.

From the pictures of her flying the plane, it is clear that she was quite comfortable tackling the cockpit controls. She later posted those photos in her sites so that her fans can see her flying plane. She also wrote that flying a plane was a fun filled experience for her and she did not feel jittery or anxious at all while flying the aircraft. However, she agreed that while she enjoyed every bit of the ride, her co-passengers did not feel the same way. To the contrary, the other passengers in that private jet got scared when they came to know she will be taking charge for some time.

The flight experience took place just days after the celebrity got engaged to her boyfriend Joel Madden. She confirmed her engagement to him on the recently held ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’. Post the engagement, she is wearing a gorgeous ring on her finger. She learnt to fly an airplane last year and when she got the chance to test, she could not resist the temptation to fly.
