Jan 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban welcomed their second daughter and the baby was born via surrogate mother. The couple announced the news to the media through a joint statement on Monday. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban tied the knot in 2006 and the couple has a daughter together, two-year-old Sunday Rose. However, the couple has named the youngest member of their family as Faith Margaret Kidman Urban and she was born at Nashville’s Centennial Women’s Hospital. Though the daughter is born via surrogate mother, both Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are her biological parents.

Surprisingly, the baby was born on December 28 but the couple announced the news to the media three weeks after it. The gorgeous actress and her country star husband wrote in their statement that the they are blessed to get their daughter as a gift from God and they are thankful to everyone for their love and support. The statement also read that no words would be able to convey the “incredible gratitude” that the couple feels for their well wishers who supported them and particularly in their “gestation carrier”. The couple said that they gave the name of their tiny tot Faith because they had to keep their faith while going through the whole process of their baby’s birth.

Nicole Kidman told a reputed celebrity and lifestyle media outlet that they needed “lots of faith” and hence they chose this name for their daughter. This announcement came as a real surprise for everyone as the couple never mentioned about the bay before. Moreover, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman appeared on Golden Globe Awards on Sunday and they were tight lipped about it. The Academy award-winning actress, however, said that she is going to take a break from all her busy schedules for six months.
