Los Angeles, Dec 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Nicolas Cage is in a soup. His manger duped him, against whom he even filed a suit and his ex-girlfriend is also following suit. His ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton is suing him for $13 million. She says that the actor dragged her down with him and has landed her into a $1.2 million debt. She is suing him for fraud and breach of contract claiming that Nicholas Cage inflicted ‘mental, physical and emotional abuse’ on her during their relationship, which ended more than a decade ago. She filed a suit against him on 8th December 2009.

However Nicholas Cage’s lawyer is refuting all these claims and says that the whole lawsuit is ridiculous and totally absurd. He claims that Nicholas Cage has paid her around $3 million for many years. He says that he paid a huge amount, much more than what was due. The agreed amount was just six thousand a month in child support, but he paid her millions.

His lawyer also claimed that since the lawsuit is so ridiculous so it would be thrown out soon. Plus Christina is not married to him too. They started dating in 1988, as Christina is the mother of his son Weston Coppola Cage. She is 42-years-old and the mother of Cage’s 18 year-old-son.

Nicholas Cage filed the lawsuit against Samuel J. Levin and his firm.

Samuel J. Levin served as Nicholas Cage’s business manager for the period 2001 to 2008 and collected millions of dollars in management fees, court documents state. The acclaimed actor Nicholas Cage, relied completely on Levin’s statements and advice and couldn’t have known about the financial trouble he was facing until after he hired new management, according to the lawsuit.
