Nicki Minaj & Carson Daly perform ‘Save Me’ on New Year’s Eve
January 3rd, 2011 - 8:58 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Jan 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Nicki Minaj gave her fans something to cheer about when she performed for NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly. Her Barbz were out in the chilly night to listen to Nicki performing.
She was dressed in a white fur coat with a massive looking fur hat and boots. That was her way to beat the cold weather as well. The cold did not dampen her spirit and she treated her audience to some spectacular performances.
At a point, Nicki screamed, “If you ready to party, say hell yeah!” the show which was pre-recorded saw Nicki performing on a rooftop in Manhattan. She gave performances for the songs “Moment 4 Life” and “Save Me.” She was surrounded by dancers that were dressed in all white. The Empire State Building could be seen behind her in the video.
Nicki whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj was born in Trinidad and Tobago. However like most of the stars, she relocated to the United States where she has enjoyed a relatively successful career. She became the first artist ever to get seven songs on the billboard Hot 100 chart with her album Pink Friday.
