Nick Lachey Busy With Wedding Plans and Hosting Gig
December 22nd, 2010 - 1:08 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonDec 21, 2010 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Nick Lachey returned to NBC recently to host ‘The Sing Off’ which is the acappella singing competition which is in it’s second season. He also just made an exciting announcement that he has gotten engaged to Vanessa Minnillo, with new rumors stating that the couple will wed on New Year’s Eve.
According to Vanessa, the rumors about the New Year’s Eve wedding are absolutely not true. But the rumors began when Lachey himself hinted at the New Year’s Eve date on the ‘Rachel Ray’ show during a guest appearance,“We’re going to be in Tuscany for New Year’s. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!” Vanessa’s denial could be a cover-up, or the two of them may not have the same vision in their minds.
In the mean time, Lachey hosted a full two hour finale for the Sing Off, after the season boasted very high ratings, prompting producers to pull for the two hour season’s ending. ‘Committed’ won the series, which earned the group a one hundred thousand dollar prize along with a recording contract from ‘Sony Music’.
