Nick Jonas says he ‘could have died’ from diabetes
March 29th, 2011 - 6:47 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 29 (ANI): Teen pop star Nick Jonas has revealed that he could have died from diabetes.
The Jonas Brothers star’s metabolic disease was diagnosed in 2005 when he was just 13 years old and doctors immediately put him on drugs to combat the illness’ side effects.
And Nick has now revealed that if medics had waited any longer to begin treatment, he could have fallen into a life-threatening coma.
“When I was diagnosed, if we had waited two days, I could’ve been in a coma. A week later, and I could’ve died, so I’m very thankful that I’ve lived to see all of this,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying. (ANI)
