Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey’s tearful first anniversary
May 2nd, 2009 - 12:23 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 2 (ANI): Nick Cannon left his wife Mariah Carey teary-eyed after surprising her with a video compilation of their most intimate moments as a first anniversary present.
The rapper, who tied the knot with the mega star in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas, had been playing a DJ set at the Moon Nightclub in Las Vegas.
The romantic actor paid tribute to his better half with a toast to all club-goers before unwrapping his surprise.
“It’s a very special occasion. Toast to everyone,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
He added: “This is the most amazing person in the world. I dedicate my life to her daily, and together this union is gonna last forever. She is my rock.”
And a touched Mariah replied: “I have the best man in the whole wide world.”
The couple then went on to cut a four-foot high anniversary cake presented to them by the club bosses. (ANI)
