Newton-John enjoying marital bliss at 60
November 14th, 2008 - 1:47 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Nov 14 (IANS) Singer-actress Olivia Newton-John, who shot to fame 30 years ago with the musical hit “Grease”, went through some major ups and down, but she is now happy and credits her happiness to her recent marriage. She battled with cancer, divorce, the disappearance of her partner and her daughter’s anorexia. But as she celebrates her 60th birthday, she has found happiness in her recent marriage to health guru John Easterling, reports mirror.co.uk
Speaking of how she manages to still look young she said: “I guess I’m lucky. Genetically, I’m like my mum and she looked great right up until her death in 1989. But I think, the real secret is that I am very, very happy. I have a wonderful new husband and we’re very compatible. I’m having the best time and I’m in a great place emotionally.”
She had met Easterling 15 years ago and got married in a mountain-top ceremony in Peru this year.
