Newlywed Jade Goody hoping for a miraculous victory against cancer
February 23rd, 2009 - 1:39 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb 23 (ANI): Cancer-stricken Jade Goody, who tied the knot with her beau Jack Tweed on Sunday, moved wedding guests to tears as she stood to deliver a 30-minute speech.
The couple exchanged wedding vows in Hatfield Heath, Essex, east of London.
A source said that the former Big Brother star 27-year-old, who summoned the strength to walk down the aisle unaided, addressed nearly 200 guests in a marquee after the service.
She was on her feet for half an hour talking. She really did herself proud and she looked beautiful, the Sun quoted the source, as saying.
She thanked everyone in her speech and said she was praying for a miracle, as we all are, the source added. (ANI)
