London, July 23 (ANI): A new movie on the British pop girl band Spice Girls is in the making.
Band member Emma Bunton was the one who revealed that the new movie about the girl group would be made, reports the Sun.
The movie will follow the same format as Mamma Mia! - using their songs as a soundtrack rather than being an actual biopic.
The girls signed a deal with Mamma Mia! stage director Judy Craymer to have their songs made into a West End musical in 2009.
And now the same team will produce the new film, which is expected to release in 2011.
It may probably be called Viva Forever after their musical and it will feature old favourites such as Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Say You’ll Be There. (ANI)
