London, March 2 (ANI): The ninth annual Tribeca Film Festival, which is slated to kick off on April 21, will open with the new 3D Shrek flick.
Shrek Forever After, the fourth and final movie about the green ogre, will also reunite stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas, reports the BBC.
The annual New York fest, which was originally launched by actor Robert De Niro in response to the consequent loss of liveliness in the Manhattan neighbourhood following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, will run until May 2.
The rest of the line up will be announced in the coming weeks. (ANI)
