New Penn & Teller show coming soon on Discovery
April 15th, 2011 - 7:46 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, April 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Penn and Teller have announced their new show on Discovery. The two announced that their show which is titled “Penn and Teller: Secrets of the Universe” will start showing this fall.
The announcement is seen as the confirmation that the comedian and magician’s show on Showtime has come to an end. Back in November Teller told the Atlantic City Weekly that they are making a decision on their future. He revealed that they were in the process of deciding whether to go ahead with their show on Showtime titled “Penn & Teller: Bullshit!” or move on and start a new program with Discovery.
According to the details of the new show, Teller and Penn would be making 10 outrageous claims on each episode of the show. One of the claims that Penn and Teller would make on the show would be totally false and it would be up to the viewers of the show to figure out which of the stories is false. Discovery has ordered six episodes of the show so far.
The show would be premiered on Discovery Channel this fall. There has been no official confirmation on the fate of the duo’s show on Showtime.
