An official new “New Moon” theatrical trailer was supposed to debut before the eager eyes of “Twilight” fans during the September 13th MTV 2009 VMA, scheduled to take place at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

However, it seems like eager fans don’t have to wait it out that long in anticipation. A version of the new trailer has hit the Internet, just days prior to the debut at the VMA, that is scheduled to beam on Sunday at 9 p.m. (ET) onwards. It has been touted that the star cast of the “Twilight” series, including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are set to make an appearance at the show, in order to release the trailer.

With the release of the latest screen offering of the “Twilight” saga drawing near, it looks like the franchise is going to be hard one to ignore, taking in to consideration the teeming number of fans who wait with bated breath for the new movie. The leak proves yet again, just how much in demand the heart-wrenching saga, that tells the love story of a human girl and a vampire male, is.

Unlike the previously released trailer, the recent one focuses its attention on the character of Edward Cullen, essayed by Robert Pattinson, and the Volturi. The trailer provides an insight to the powerful vampire coven. The clip kicks off depicting Jane (Dakota Fanning) opening the door that leads i to Volturi’s casa. More shots involving the Wolf Pack as well as fight sequences are also on display.

Ample lot of shots of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her recklessness over Edward’s departure are also showcased.
