‘New moon’ voted favourite movie of 2009
March 17th, 2010 - 12:55 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )London, March 17 (IANS) Romantic fantasy “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” has been named the film of 2009 by filmgoers voting for the Fandango fan choice award at the upcoming ShoWest in Las Vegas.
Imdb.com reports that the fan choice award was voted by nearly 50,000 moviegoers, who were asked on Fandango to select their favourite film of 2009. The sequel beat “Avatar” and eight other movies to claim the top prize at the cinema owners event by garnering 66 percent of the vote.
The award ceremony will take place Thursday at ShoWest’s final night at Bally’s Las Vegas.
