Nov. 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The long-awaited movie ‘New Moon‘, which released on Nov. 20 is bringing in horde of the ‘Twilight series’ fans to the theaters. The reviews are out, and the theaters are once again filled up with audience flocking to see the film.

The movie, based on the book by Stephanie Meyer of the same name, stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kirsten Stewart in the lead- with a lot of new additions to fill up the roles of the additional characters that appear in the second installment of the “Twilight” saga. Fans have already given the movie a thumbs up and say that even though ‘Edward’ was absent for most part, ‘Jacob’ filled the hollow with his warm and friendly character. Lautner is being regarded as the better actor this time as compared to Edward, who remains cold, withdrawn and absent for most part.

There is another part that left the fans steaming and brooding- the ending of the movie. Unlike the book, the movie ends when Edward asks Bella to marry him. The movie keeps the audience hanging, and does not show Bella’s reaction as illustrated by Meyer in the book. This has reportedly brought on a lot of shouting and screaming from the girls in the theaters.

The critics and the Twilight fans agree on one thing and that is the casting of Dakota Fanning in the role of Jane. The ‘War of the Worlds’ star, has been given full points for her portrayal of the ‘torturing Volturi vampire’ and is expected that she is going to add in on the acting quotient of the cast, with her acting skill.
