The single ‘Hold My Hand’ will debut as a stream on the official website of the star and R&B lovers have already taken to the web in excitement.

‘You’re So Beautiful’ star Akon recorded the single with the King of Pop back in 2007 in Las Vegas but the song was reportedly not ready for release back then. Akon worked on the single after the death of Michael Jackson and completed the production recently. The unfinished version of the song released two years ago but this time the fans will get to hear the complete song that will feature two of the biggest names in the music industry. Akon said that he was devastated when the unfinished song was released but now he feels it is time for the world to hear the song. He said that the beautiful number was set to become an anthem. He also added that he was proud of the fact that he worked with Michael Jackson, who he said was one of his all time idols.

Michael Jackson’s posthumous album ‘Michael’ has been one of the most anticipated albums in recent years as it is known to contain unreleased material by the star. Rap icon 50 Cent and rocker Lenny Kravitz have also collaborated with the King of Pop in two of the songs. The album is set to release on December 14. The previous single, ‘Breaking News’, created a buzz when the family members of Michael Jackson alleged that the voice of the legend appears fake some times in the song. The record company has, however, brushed aside the speculations.
