Mel Gibson London, July 08 (ANI): Production on new Mad Max film has been postponed until next year (11), according to reports.

The film, starring Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult starring, is a remake of Mel Gibson’s original 1979 action flick and was due to begin shooting in Australia in November (10).

But the shoot has reportedly been postponed until February (11) following announcement that movie bosses will be filming a sequel back-to-back with the first film, reports the Daily Star.

According to an Australian newspaper, the move will leave “Several hundred crew members” without work and claims the delay has been caused by “screenwriting and casting problems.”

The two films, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ and ‘Mad Max: Furiosa’, will be the fourth and fifth installments in the popular franchise. (ANI)
