New Jersey, July 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There are many people across the US who are happy to watch the popular show “Jersey Shore” but the New Jersey governor Chris Christie does not appear on that list.

The Governor appeared as a guest on ABC’s “This Week” show on Sunday and was asked by host Jake Tapper if he was a fan of the MTV show. It ought to be mentioned that the TV show Jersey Shore showcases the adventures of a clan of Italian Americans in their twenties who are dedicated party animals and who reside at a house along the shores of New Jersey. The host of the show asked him whether the show was giving a good impression of the state of New Jersey or not.

Christie’s reply was a strong “negative for the state”. The show has been blasted by many Italian-Americans who say the show offends their ethnicity and also gives a bad impression.

The Governor said the show only involves New Yorkers and leaves them at the shores of New Jersey and thus doesn’t portray the New Jersey people in the right light, as it doesn’t involve them at all.

The second season of the show is all set to premiere on Thursday.
