May 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Kamaraj has openly spoke out about his disappointment over the top level actors including Vikram, who even do not pay little attention to the new filmmakers.

Kamaraj says, “”The top-charting actors in K-town never have an idea about heeding to newcomers’ scripts and they persistently keep them disappointed.”

The filmmaker felt remorseful over the fact that he had tried narrating his script to various popular actors including Vikram but they kept him awaited with false hope. Kamaraj was addressing at the audio launch of his new film Vilai.

Naturally, the special invitees on the occasion were shocked at this as none of the filmmakers had openly confessed such complaints at special junctures. Appositely, Kamaraj added that newcomers should be encouraged by these actors at least by hearing to their scripts but not humiliate them.

The audio launch of Vilai was attended by producer Rama Narayanan, V.C. Guhanathan, Bhagyaraj, Karan, Vetrimaaran, Samuthirakkani and many others. D. Imman has scored music for this film featuring “Nadodigal’ fame Bharani in lead roles along with Udhayathara.

Vilai also features Banuchandar, Saravanan, Balaji, Reethu, Madhumitha and Fathima in prominent roles.
