Neve Campbell’s divorce with John Light finalized
May 18th, 2011 - 7:46 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Neve Campbell and husband John Light finalized their divorce just a day after the fourth anniversary of their marriage. The two married on the 5th of May 2007 in Malibu and the court finalized the divorce on the 6th of May 2011.
It was Campbell who filed the divorce. When she submitted the divorce papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court in June 2010, Campbell stated that the couple has “irreconcilable differences” which will not make the marriage work. In the divorce papers, Campbell told the court that John should be denied any spousal support.
The divorce settlement details have not been made public but reports in the media say the two presented a settlement agreement to the judge. The document has been classified as confidential. However the general idea is that the couple’s assets will be divided up between the two.
This is the second time that Campbell has gone through the divorce proceedings. In 1997, the “Scream” star ended her marriage with Canadian star Jeff Colt. The two were married for two-and-a-half-years.
“Vivaldi” is the latest work of Campbell. Production of the Boris Damast’s biographical drama about the life of the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi is expected to commence later this year.
