Dec 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Last afternoon a false death news of veteran Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman sprung up on Twitter. Yes this is the latest hoax on the giant social networking site to involve any Hollywood celebrity. The news on Twitter claimed that the actor was no more. It was mentioned that Morgan Freeman had breathed his last at this Burbank home in California. However, the news is nothing but a baseless rumor as the actor is alive and is doing pretty well.

The ever to be resolved celebrity death hoax news surfaced on Thursday and reports reveal that the root of the incorrigible prank has been identified. However, what came up on the site showed that a user had posted the news that the Oscar nominated and winning actor had died. The news was said to be declared by CNN. An user simply wrote the channel’s name saying that it was them who had reported of the actor’s death. However, the well known media house has rubbished the rumors saying that the rumor is simply baseless. A CNN spokesperson said that they never had any hand in the breaking up of the news. The death hoax broke out on Thursday afternoon and by evening time CNN in its official Twitter page had mentioned that it did not have anything to do with the news. They also wrote that they will certainly investigate the matter.

The false news of the actor passing away broke out yesterday and went on to shock many as there were no before hand reports of the actor being ill. As a result many were taken into panic all of a sudden. However, good news is that the actor is absolutely fit and fine. After news of the actor being fine was confirmed all Morgan Freeman fans breathed relief.
